Jeremy Hill who was LSU’s leading rusher runs it in 7 yards on the first drive of the 2nd half.But South Carolina comes right back Marcus Lattimore punches it in from 2 yards 14-10 South Carolina.Jeremy Hill bounces off a defender and takes it all the way 50 yards to the house! 12 seconds left 23-21 LSU one last shot for South Carolina… and it’s picked off! LSU knocks off #3.
LSU really controlled both sides of the line. LSU had 258 yards and let up 34.
17 Stanford at 7 Notre Dame
Let’s skip all the way to the fourth quarter and Stanford is up 10-3. And the big Tight End Tyler Eifert gets the TD pass from Golson.all tied up at 10. 22 seconds to play 13-10 Stanford and from 22 yards Kyle Brindza ties it at 13. In overtime Tommy Rees who is in for the now injured Golson to TJ Jones! 20-13 Irish. Then ball on the 1 for Stanford 1st and goal…NO. Second and goal…..NO. third…NO. So he’s got to get it on fourth… fight, fight, fight and he’s in Touchdown Stanford but wait! The refs call his knee was down and Notre Dame sure to be Top 5 when the first BCS standings come out tonight. I think he was in what do you think?
The Notre Dame D did not play as well as it usually does but it did force 2 turnovers!
5 West Virginia at Texas Tech
Seth Doege makes a great pass but a amazing catch and Texas Tech is up 14-0. Doege had 499 Passing yards. Geno only had 275. SaDale Foster has a 53 yard run to put the red raiders up 35-7. Seth Doege has 6 TD’s and TTU knocks off the mountaineers 49-14.
22 Texas A&M at 23 Louisiana Tech
Johnny Manziel 75 yards to Mike Evans and this game is done it’s 34-7! But as I stated in my projection Texas A&M breaks down in the second LTU lights up! 46-38 Texas A&M now Johnny Manziel in his endzone throws a pick 6 to avoid the saftey the 2 point conversion failed so it’s 46-44. Later 59-44 so now it’s over but Colby Camerson short pass long run so it’s 59-51. LTU gets the onside kick and scores but misses the two. 59-57 final. Texas A&M had 678 yards of offense LTU had 615.
1 Alabama at Missouri
On the second play from scrimmage Eddie Lacy breaks a 73-yard Touchdown run. The Tide score the game’s first 28 points.42-10 ‘bama cruising.
15 Texas vs 13 Oklahoma
Oklahoma had 677 yards of Offense and Damien Williams contributed big to that with 95 Yard Run a Red River Rivalry Record as they win big 63-21.
Texas’s D was supposed to be good but it is on track to be the worst in UT history.
OU’s D let up only 74 yards of Rushing in a great performance.
6 Kansas State at Iowa State
Collin Klein had 3 rushing touchdowns but Iowa State still gave them a scare Kansas State was only up 6 with a couple minutes left but Kansas State’s defense sforces ISU to turn it over on downs. 27-21.
10 Oregon State at BYU
Cody Vaz getting his first start for the injured Sean Mannion. Markus Wheaton….. REVERSE! 35-24 Oregon State they go 0n to win it 42-24.
