EAGLES POWER PAST STEELERS IN PRESEASON ACTION

Nick Foles threw a touchdown, leading the Eagles first-team offense to 3 scores before being taken out of the game in a 31-21 triumph over Pittsburgh.”I feel we’re improving every week,” Foles said. “We have to keep moving forward.” Star runningback LeSean McCoy was taken out of the game midway through the first for a right thumb injury and he didn’t return, his coach Chip Kelly called the injury¬†“no big deal.” McCoy said after the game that a helmet hit it and it started hurting. Foles threw 29 passes, completing 19 for 179 yards. On the opposing side Ben Rothlisberger was¬†15 of 24 for 157 yards and rookie linebacker Ryan Shazier had 6 tackles.
